Plus is available as a monthly and yearly subscriptions or one-time lifetime access. All three give you the same features.

Yes. Monthly and yearly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime through the Paddle receipt link in your purchase email, or by contacting support@groundedmomentum.com. Your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. The lifetime plan is a one-time payment with no recurring billing.

You can request a refund within 14 days of any purchase. All payments are processed securely by Paddle, our authorized reseller. To request a refund, contact Paddle directly using your purchase receipt, or reach out to us at support@groundedmomentum.com and we'll assist you.

Free includes all core features in both the desktop app and the extensions, with no account required. The extensions store everything locally in your browser. In the desktop app your data lives in a local database, and creating a free account syncs it across your devices — Plus is what unlocks live session control, your full history, themes and per-weekday goals.

Grounded Momentum Desktop is the full focus environment: an always-on-top timer, website and app blocking, projects, goals and long-term activity tracking. The extensions are single-purpose tools that live in your browser — Time Snatch blocks distracting sites, Cadence runs pomodoro timers, and GramControl tames Instagram (GramControl is entirely free and has no Plus features). One Plus membership covers the desktop app, Time Snatch and Cadence.

Yes. For free users, all data is stored locally on your device. For Plus users, synced data is hosted in Europe (Hetzner in Germany) and transmitted using HTTPS encryption. We never collect browsing history or web content. We only store your email address and extension data (blocklists, timers, preferences) to enable syncing.

When you sign in with Google, we only request basic OAuth scopes (openid, email, and profile) and only store your email address for account identification. We do not access your name, profile picture, Google Drive, Gmail, or any other sensitive data. Authentication is used solely to sync your extension data across devices.

Yes, you can request deletion of your data or account at any time by contacting support@groundedmomentum.com. We will delete your information within 30 days. You have the right to access, correct, or request a portable copy of your data under GDPR.

Yes! All our browser extensions are open source and licensed under GPL-3.0. You can view, modify, and redistribute the code. However, the Plus service backend that enables cloud syncing is proprietary and closed-source.
